Embodied faith communities that are pursuing Jesus’ shalom in New England communities. What does that mean for place, land, and people, and for our own formation and development (Orthopraxy – living out what we believe)
JJP is a weeklong immersive discipleship experience for students to learn how to embody community that is led by the Holy Spirit, Gospel-proclaiming in word and deed, marked by forgiveness and reconciliation, and in pursuit of Jesus’s shalom alongside our neighbors. This is accomplished through students experiencing day-to-day life in tight-knit community, communal scripture study and worship, serving alongside local non-profits, and listening well to each other, to God, and to our neighbors.
Students will experience a transformation as they embody and practice what life-long discipleship with Jesus will look like after college. Our hope is that they would return to campus transformed with new vision of how to actively love and renew the campus. At JJPs students will be invited and challenged to grow in their leadership development and practices around beloved community, scripture, prayer, communal witness and relational outreach.
Weeks are correlated to you school’s Spring Break.
