Many Students Coming to Faith at URI

The past few months we have been praying for God to bring revival to college campuses in New England - that there would be an outpouring of God's spirit and that an unprecedented number of students would place their faith in Jesus. And we have tasted that this year at URI!

In the first month of school alone, there were 7 (!!!) students who decided to follow Jesus! The most exciting part was that 4 of these were through "contact evangelism" where we have a conversation with a random student on campus. In my previous 6+ years as a student and on staff at URI, we have NEVER seen a student come to faith through contact evangelism before, and just this past month we have seen FOUR! God is surely doing something special!

You should take 3 minutes out of your day to watch Sean's testimony of leading someone to faith! It will be the best two minutes of your day. Sean is a freshmen on campus, and the first time he ever shared the Gospel on campus, he got to lead someone to faith. This video is him sharing what happened immediately afterwards. God is using people of all skill levels to bring people into his kingdom! This is what your prayers and gifts make possible!
