Smith College Encountering the Lord

Student leaders have been encountering the Lord through personal times of prayer and worship and together as a team.  They have been joyful in meeting new students and welcoming them into Christian community on campus. 

Pictured above are SCF leaders running a free lemonade stand on the first day of classes to bless their peers and share about this Christian community on campus that all are welcome to.  We met many Smithies that day!  Some were excited and relieved to find a Christian community and some were very curious and explained that they don't have a faith background but were really interested in Christianity.  It was exciting for our leaders to invite all to come and see!  Students with no faith background were excited that they were also welcome to come to our meetings and Bible studies with their questions and learn more about Jesus! 

Picture above are shots from our annual ice cream social.  We served somewhere around 250 Smithies this year!  Student leaders have been busy diligently following up with attendees who left their contact info.
