Black Campus Ministry at Bridgewater State

The first weekend in February I (Erin) had the privilege of bringing two of my student leaders to New England's annual Black Campus Ministry conference. This was Bridgewater State InterVarsity's first time ever being represented!

Chris and Jeffrey joined me to think critically about black identity in a changing world. We gathered with Black, African American, African and Caribbean students from all over New England and discussed how God is stirring up black student-led movements to reach out to these people groups on our campuses. Jeffrey was so encouraged to be in a room of young adults who share his story and Chris is inspired to start strategically reaching out to black students at Bridgewater State who might not feel comfortable walking into a majority-white setting in our fellowship. We are praying to begin a Bible study for black students some time this semester.
